Car wheel thefts
Tuesday, August 4, 2009 2:18 am
Peralta Ave. at Ripley St. (the top of Ripley)
Wheels stolen from Vehicle
Officer Lozano and Officer Polovina responded a call of a stripped vehicle and found a parked car missing it's two front wheels and tires. The owner told the officers that his car was in operating condition with all four tires prior to that night, case number 090789480.
(This is a common occurrence in San Francisco. People will return to their car parked overnight, only to find it sitting on milk crates and all 4 wheels removed.)
